Core responsibilities
Beverage preparation: Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks, from classic cocktails to non-alcoholic options, according to recipes and customer requests.
Customer service: Greet patrons, take orders, make recommendations, and ensure guests have a positive and enjoyable experience.
Order and payment processing: Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and manage customer tabs using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
Bar maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, wash glassware, restock supplies, and prepare garnishes.
Inventory management: Monitor and manage stock levels for liquor, mixers, and other supplies, placing orders as needed.
Responsible service: Verify customer identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age and monitor patrons for signs of intoxication.
Required skills and qualifications
Experience as a bartender
Excellent knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
