Core responsibilities
Customer service:
Greet guests, provide menus, answer questions about the menu, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
Order taking:
Take food and drink orders, making note of any special requests or modifications, and relaying them accurately to the kitchen and bar staff.
Service:
Serve food and beverages to guests, refill drinks, and deliver orders promptly.
Table maintenance:
Clear dirty dishes, wipe down tables, and reset them for new customers.
Payment processing:
Use a Point of Sale (POS) system to input orders and handle payments accurately.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with other staff members, including kitchen and support staff, to ensure smooth service and help maintain a clean and organized dining area.
